Staccato sur VoirFilms. Dans l'Irlande du XIXe siècle, Sean, un jeune jardinier issu d'un milieu modeste, entre au service de l'aristocrate Falgirth pour entretenir le domaine familial. Au fil des répétitions au piano de Thomas, le fils de la maison, une complicité indicible s'épanouit entre les deux garçons pour se muer en une passion clandestine. Mais dans une société corsetée où l'écart des classes ne pardonne rien, cette idylle interdite bascule brutalement dans l'arène judiciaire, emportée par un tourbillon de jalousie, de trahisons et de faux-semblants.
